California - June 2014

No matter how hard I try, I really struggle with keeping on top of my blog.

It's easy for things like bump dates, but all of the other fun trips and outings we take tend to fall to the wayside. In fact, I've lost count how many times JP has asked me to upload pictures from our California trip that we took 6 months ago. So, before he asks me...again...

 

We went with my inlaws to La Jolla and had an amazing trip. Traveling with a toddler can be exhausting and it wasn't always easy, but we had a great time nonetheless. Enjoy!

Ellie's first trip to the beach - she loved it!

 

Some of you may remember, this was the trip we used to announce my pregnancy.

I was around 14 weeks during our trip, which is very clear in some pictures...

 



We stayed at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club and had the pretty sunset views from the room!

 



This was the first time I missed wine during my pregnancy.

Luckily, my mother in law makes some amazing virgin mojitos!

 



We took Ellie to the San Diego zoo (my favorite zoo BY FAR!).

 



We went down to Mission Beach to explore Bellmont Park.

 



 

We took Ellie to the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla.

 



 

We had a great trip and look forward to many more vacations with our little family!

 

 

And if you're lucky, maybe I'll get around to posting our Chicago trip from August before next August. ;)
